Dear all,

Here are some upcoming events to help you keep in touch with Cedar:

Partners' Day

We will be organizing a reunion gathering for all Cedar Graduates at Cedar this 16 May 2009.

Time: 10.00am- 12.00pm (registration starts at 9.30am)

Venue: Cedar (Geylang Bahru)

Attire: You are encouraged to come in Cedar Colours (:

Admission is FREE and food and drinks are provided (:

You can take this opportunity to meet up with your fellow Cedarians and teachers. At the same time, you can find out more about happenings in Cedar and ways to volunteer if you wish.

Some of the events that we will be discussing about will be the:

1. March back to Cedar Avenue (LATE DEC ‘09)

2. Formation of JC chapter of CC and JC Forum (LATE JULY ‘09)

Do spread the word around and gather your fellow Cedar graduates to join us on 16^th May.

Be Yourself Day!

Hey guys!

Be Yourself Day will be held on 4 July 2008. It will be a day of fun for all the Cedarians to let themselves relax and have fun under the theme of Girl Power!

The IC for this event is Choo Yisha from the class of 2004. Please email to cedarconnect@gmail.com if you are willing to help out :) We do need your help to make this event yet another successful one!

Our Cedar Days

Hi All!

The Cedar Connect Reunion was successfully held on 9 May 2008.

The organizing committee and I would like to thank all Cedar graduates who attended the event and brought along your enthusiasm!

It was really heartening to realize how the Cedar spirit never dies even as all of us have graduated from Cedar, some longer than the rest of course.

We hope that all of you have enjoyed yourself that night and will continue to support Cedar Connect!

This is only the beginning of a hopefully fruitful and active CedarConnect calendar. The success of Cedar Connect is totally dependent on each and everyone of you, therefore I would like to invite all of you to volunteer for at least one of the many events we have here:

1) Be Yourself Day ( August/September) - IC
Purely CedarConnect event, given one assembly slot for activities/concert for Cedarians, can be fundraising effort

2) Fundraising Event (any time) - IC
To raise funds for PRIME

3) Peer Tutoring (July to EYE) - IC
To organize a programme to provide peer/group tutoring for Cedarians

4) Career Guidance Day (August) - IC
For JC/Poly students to share experiences with Cedarians

5) Cedar Musical (November)
Looking for directors, stage managers, dance choreographers, prop designers, crew members. Long commitment required at least 2 months before the event.

6) DSA Interview Panel (June/July)
Inviting all DSA students to come forward

Reply to cedarconnect@gmail.com to indicate which events you are interested. For events 1 – 4, do raise your interest if you do not mind being the overall IC. Events 5 & 6, there will not be an overall IC, but instead please indicate the role you’re interested in the musical and your CCA if you were a DSA student.

IN addition, we are also looking for Executive members. If you are interested to run any post in the ExCo (VP, Sec, Treasurer, etc) please also reply to the same email.

In all replies, please include your NAME, HP NUMBER and CURRENT SCHOOL.

We will be uploading all the photos taken on the blog ASAP. If you do want to contribute photos, please also email them to cedarconnect@gmail.com

Again, I seek all of your support to make all our events happen. So DO reply!
